Today we are happy to premiere a new song by new music duo Noah Fence. Composed of Pablo Narea and Vera Kurnev, Noah Fence’s sound is “founded on Pablo’s tropical and classic rock-inspired guitar riffs and Vera’s jazzy vocals.” The two met while attending NYU , bonding over their love of bands such as Men I trust and Crumb. Noah Fence hopes to bring the sounds of the 60s and 70s to a “contemporary pop context.” They released their first single, “Snack,” last fall, and are now sharing “Tinto de Verano” with us. The duo had the following to say of their newest release:

“The song was written during a trip to Madrid, Spain while Pablo was there studying abroad. We had a goal of writing a “summer song” together, and pursuing that idea resulted in this single. The lyrics revolve around feeling and acting lethargic on this short trip, stomachs full of wine and jamon and the many aimless walks taken to try and walk it off. It’s also about not wanting the trip to end. Tinto de verano is a common summer drink in Spain – it’s like sangria but cheaper, half red wine half soda.”

Get an early listen of “Tinto De Verano” below, and look for it to hit streaming services on July 2nd.
